TARTE REVIEW PART 2: Eye products and Face products

Hello gorgeous people! how have you been doing? This time i'm doing things a little bit different. A couple of weeks ago I had ordered directly from Tarte some of their newly launched products and their best sellers. So I thought i'd review all of my items. Since I do have quite a few items, I decided that instead of having a post for each individual item, I would split them up according to skin care (Part 1), Eye products and face products (Part 2), Lip products and tools (Part 3), and overall brand review (Part 4)! So let's jump right into it! :D

So in this part I only have 3 products to review. I have an eye shadow palette for the eye products and a foundation and concealer for the face products. Starting with the eye products, today I will be reviewing the Tartiest PRO Amazonian clay palette. So as the product description says, this does have 20 shades! It comes with a full mirror, and the packaging itself feels great and very expensive. The black exterior has a sort of velvety touch to it. Most eyeshadow palette do tend to come in plastic packaging, but this is not one of them!

''A pro-level, everyday eyeshadow palette with 20 ultra-pigmented shades powered by naturally-derived ingredients.''

This retails for 50 euros, which is the best price you will find for an eyeshadow palette of this quality. So that is 50 euros for a full sized mirror, heavy duty packaging, and 20 eye shadow shades.

Now to talk about the eye shadow themselves. This is the BOMB! The shadows are so creamy and SUPER pigmented. Also, this smells like CHOCOLATE! It is literally heaven. You can create so many looks with this palette, from daytime looks to evening looks! This palette has got it all. This beats any morphe or any other brand. You have got to go and get yourself this palette!

This gets 6/5 purple hearts (yes that's how much I love this)

Starting with the face products, starting with the rainforest of the sea water foundation. So this retails for 36 euros and you get 30mL / 1 Fl.Oz. So this foundation comes with a little pipette instead of a pump. It is super liquid and the coverage is very light. so it is perfect for an everyday use. Unfortunately for me though this is not ideal since I have a lot of redness, so I do have to layer it up a bit. But the good thing is you can layer it up.

''A lightweight, full coverage hydrating foundation infused with tarte's Rainforest of the Sea™ complex.''

Now, this feels SUPER light on the skin, it's like you have got no foundation on, that's how light it is. The thing that I do dislike about this is that it does smell so much of sunblock. But it is very radiant and brightening, So that's great. I don't think it gave any flashback though, I will definitely have to check again and update you all though. Overall I think this is a very good everyday foundation.

Next is the much awaited concealer, and yes I am talking about the best selling shape tape contour concealer. So, before I start, yes, this is totally worth the hype! It is so creamy and brightening. I have never loved a concealer this much. And this smells like turkish delight! This costs 24 euro and you get 10ml/ 0.34 Fl.oz. This sits so beautifully on the skin and blends perfect! Also, since the applicator is very large, and it does pick up quite a lot of product, so be careful because a little bit goes a very long way! I love to also use this as a base for my eyeshadow too!

''A vegan friendly, creamy concealer for radiant coverage and contouring.''

The coverage of this is just amazing. I don't have anymore to say about this product except that you just need to go and get yourself a 100 of these!

This also gets 6/5 purple hearts!

So before I end this review I wanted to show you how great the eyeshadow palette and the shape tape concealer is. Here is an eye look I created on my hand, using only these two products (apart from eyeliner).

So I hope you've enjoyed this review. If you haven't read part 1 of this series review, you can find it right before this post. Part 1 consisted of skincare products, so be sure to check it out! Do you have any of these products? Have you tried them? What is your opinion about these items?

XOXO
