Express yourself, don't hide yourself!

As I have previously said, you shouldn't use makeup to hide what you don't want others to see, but to express yourself and add more colour to your beautiful face.

In my opinion, a new-be to this artistic world, should not walk into it with the attitude that you are going to start using makeup to hide blemishes, make facial parts appear smaller or larger etc. As you see when you walk into a makeup store, you don't just see natural colours on display. You find stands full of colour; blacks, browns, reds, pinks, purples, oranges, blues and many many more.

These colours are there to show that you should use makeup for your own fun, use lively or dull colours. There are so many products out there which help you bring out your creativity. You can make yourself look like anything you want to, not to hide what you don't like, but to have more fun with how you appear.

There is nothing to be afraid about in using colours. If you feel like wearing a dark purple lipstick on a summery day, then do so! Trends, people's comments etc. should not matter. It's what makes you happy and feel confident in, that matters.

One does not wear makeup for others, but for themselves. What i'm trying to say here is that, you can do whatever you want with makeup, just as long as you do not care about what society has to think of your choice. If you like it, do it! Don't be afraid, after all, life is too short to worry about what others think!
