Review ~ NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
I recently purchased one of the lip creams from NYX. Since recently i've been wanting to wear more natural lip shades, I wanted to purchase a shade that was close to my natural lip colour, therefore I purchased the colour "Abu Dhabi". This was around 8 to 9 euro. Which is really cheap.
The colour is simply stunning! I honestly fell in love with this shade. NYX have done an outstanding job with all the shades. Honestly all the colours are so beautiful.
To start off, the application of this lip cream is really good. It applies and blends well. It is not as drying as I thought, actually it is barely drying on your lips. Though, I am a bit of a fussy girl, and it does feel a tiny bit uncomfortable on my lips, but not much that it bothers me to the point that I want to remove it. It is also really soft on the lips, and creamy in a dry way. I found that applying a lip liner under it and applying a few layers of this lip cream on top of it, is much better as it makes the colour pop out more.
If you are looking for something that will not fade or leave after a few hours (which includes drinking and eating), then this is not the product for you. It does last for a bit, and I found myself applying another layer of it after 2 hours or so, but it did not fade to a point where you couldn't tell if I was wearing any lip product or not.
Over all, I think this product is worth it, and I will defiantly be getting a few more shades out of this line.
